Version 2.4 adds PHP5 support and an improved upgrade script and web-based installation. Caravel is a modular, enterprise level content management system with an intuitive user interface, designed to allow non-technical users to easily maintain web site content. Designed for large-scale sites, it has powerful file and template sharing tools.

Version 2.3 marks the transition of our source code tree to Sourceforge's CVS server, accompanied by major cleanup and reorganization of the code tree. In addition, a number of bugs have been fixed. Caravel 2.1.0 Released!

This update to the Caravel Content Management System includes new added support for the eduperson standard as well as security grouping by ip address blocks! It is also more stable and makes site administration easier.

Caravel CMS Major Version Release!

The Caravel Content Management System project has released Versions 2.0 and 2.0.1. These include greater stability, increased functionality better standards compliance an improved install and a brand new enterprise level security infrastructure. The Caravel team hopes this release will further their goal of giving not-for-profits the ability to run an enterprise level CMS without having to worry about licensing fees.
