Camget-0.03

New version of camget uploaded. This release mainly addresses the changed url for the traffic cam source. I also made the timestamp show properly. Our area (near Washington, D.C.) got hit with a snow storm recently so be nice to the servers.

Please use the SourceForge forums for this project to give feedback. I get good feedback offline, but I'm too lazy to add it.

Camget has saved me many hours of travel time. I hope it will do the same for you.

Camget update - Delayed

Sorry folks.

I planned to upload a new version of camget this weekend after moving to my new apartment. However, I am still waiting for cable and internet to be hooked up.

I will have very limited web access (browsing only) until 01/15. I'm not too confident about that date since the cable company has already missed 4 appointments, but we'll see.

I hate Comcast.

There will be a section where I'll post traffic headaches camget has saved me from. I also want to include a way for people to tell us about traffic camera websites they know of.... read more

Pre-alpha Release & 2 new devs

Camget's inital release is now available for download. Project developers are encouraged to download and play with this release. It may not be of much use to anyone else but developers. Speaking of developers, two more have been added this week. These new additions will help get Camget working on equipment and operating systems that I don't have. I won't say Camget will be cross-platform (I won't say it will not be cross-platform, either), but we are working to get it to as many platforms as possible. Our current testing environment includes:... read more
