I updated my 1.7 tree (had last done so about a week ago) and did a make to bring everything up-to-date. When bin/bzflag is run, then menu doesn't respond (or does verrry slooowly). Top shows X running flat out using all the processor. System: Debian GNU/Linux Testing (sarge) $ uname -a Linux irn-bru 2.4.18-686 #1 Sun Apr 14 11:32:47 EST 2002 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) GenuineIntel GNU/Linux Have spent a bit of time trying to track this down. After restarting X the following is true: bzflag 1.7e6 works fine cvs 1.7 from a week ago work fine current cvs exhibits above behaviour I *thought* I'd pinned this down to the change in src/net/Address.cxx, but now I'm tired and confused an am not so sure ;-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andrew Greig (agreig) Date: 2002-10-31 09:33 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=630464 Okay, my mistake, its nothing to do with the CVS version. It seems my machine is deciding to occasionally lock up on *any* version of bzflag. Since this has only just started occuring, and doesn't always happen, I assume its due to something else on my machine. Sorry to trouble everyone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=103248&aid=630733&group_id=3248 |
