I disagree (heh, obviously).

There is a chance that you will shoot yourself, but there is a much better chance
that you will randomly hit a number of other tanks (assuming there are other
people playing of course)...you can also find a direction that dosent kill you
and keep shooting in that direction....with a good number of people playing
you can rack up 10-20 kills before you have to change directions or get killed
by someone else.

I think it should at least be a server option......I have been killed by "accidental
laser bounce" much more often than by someone actually trying to hit me with
the laser....
