Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Michael Hoffman (michaelh20) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Rejoin Delay Thingee Initial Comment: Sometimes a server doesn't allow an immediate rejoin - this requires the client to reconnect again. This patch allows the user to specify a certain delay that is done before rejoining the same server (same server = same ip & port). When rejoining a new server or when you were an observer or you are going to be an observer the delay is ignored. Ideally we know if the client has the permission to automatically rejoin without delay (but knowing the permissions on the server isn't implemented yet) and ideally we can at least get the _rejoindelay value (might be possible). If we can get both of these values this rejoin thing can be more intelligent. Another option mentioned is to only wait after the initial connect is rejected - this might be possible, but the messages are rather asynchronous. The default is 0 (off) so there is no effect unless specified by the user. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=303248&aid=1209552&group_id=3248 |
