Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why is the Save button greyed out?

I cannot figure out how to get the program to save my data.
The "save" button at the top of the window is grayed out.
How can I save my work?

Budgeter is designed to save your data automatically and
continuously. Therefore, whenever the "save" button is greyed out,
that means the data has already been saved.

Data is saved to disk every time you finish editing a line.

To see where the data is saved, look at the title bar of the program.
It will say something like "Budgeter - c:\documents and settings\your
name\file.sqlite". That file name is where all your Budgeter data is
stored, and if you copy it to a flash disk or CD you will back up
everything. You should be able to double-click on the file to open it.
