Generally speaking, it goes something like: struct bu_vls tmpstr; bu_vls_init(&tmpstr); stuff... (bu_vls_sprintf, bu_vls_printf, etc - see bu.h) bu_vls_free(&tmpstr); /*done with string*/ I don't know how good it is, but there's a lot of bu_vls examples in tire.c in libged...
