I tried --with-tcl or --with-tk options, but all unsuccessfully Thanks in advance ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Sean Morrison (brlcad) Date: 2009-09-15 14:01 Message: Edgar, You should use the INSTALL file first for the most detailed and up-to-date compilation & installation instructions, not the wiki. That said, I can't really tell you what you're doing wrong because you've not shown what the problem is. I assume from what you said that you're trying to compile against system Tcl/Tk libraries instead of letting BRL-CAD compile the ones that we provide. By default, configure will autodetect system libraries and use them if they are 1) found and 2) compatible. If it can't find the library, that would require the --with-tcl/--with-tk and possibly other cflags/cppflags/ldflags. You can forcibly disable our compilation of tcl/tk with the --disable-tcl-build and --disable-tk-build options. However, it may be finding the library and simply determining that it's not compatible. It's impossible to know what it's doing without seeing your configure output and/or your config.log file. You should provide your config.log as an attachment. Cheers!
