[brlcad-devel] 'pl' Suffix for Plot Files

The use of the suffix '.pl' for libplot3 files has bothered me for
years--it confuses this old Perl user (and some new ones, too).  Are
there any votes for changing that to something like '.plot3' (to
distinguish it from '.plot') or '.pl3'?

If so, I'll be glad to take a shot at finding all appropriate
references and submitting patches.
