Hi Steven, one word: works. Okay, two words: works great.. I do have a gripe though which can be best explained with an example: I have an opcode called 'multiModeFilter'. It's actual content isn't interesting, only the fact that it's heavily work in progress. Now whenever I change that opcode, I have to copy it to each and every instrument using it. With 3 instruments, that's a minor inconvenience. With 20 instruments we're getting near a dependency nightmare. Or I use the master list, then I have to prepare the instruments for export, and besides, not having to collect each and every opcode used from the library is soo sweet. see my point? So a 'reference type' UDO would be neat, something along the line: If the local UDO name starts with '*' copy the udo from the master list (ignore the local UDO). If it's not in the master list, copy it from the library. When uploading, copy the text from the master list/library to the local UDO. It would also be handy for A/B comparison (which filter sounds better?). Just insert/delete the '*'. However replacing local UDO's with UDO's from the master list can also be done from outside of blue (ruby script). So don't bother if it's not as trivial as it sounds. Thanks & kind regards Pia |
