Hi Dave, Strange, I did test for PortMidi and WinMME on XP SP2 and did get results for the internal Microsoft stuff. Are you using the latest Csound 5.02.1 (I think that's it)? Maybe if Hector is finding the Midi stuff not happening too on Linux with PortMIDI, then there might just be a problem. If you run blue and see the commandline terminal, when you run the auto-detect for the midi stuff, the terminal should say something like "Running" and then a commandline, then a "Finished Running" and the same commandline again. If you have that still open and then open a separate console and type that exact commandline, does Csound report all the midi devices? Thanks very much for your report!
