hello, I am currently using the current stable release of Debian. Blitz++ (blitz++ (1:0.8-4)) and gdb version 6.3 with gcc version 3.3.5. I am wondering how to get gdb to work properly. When I use Blitz++, gdb does not recognize any of my source files. For example if I try to set a breakpoint at line 120 in main.cc, I get an error like "No source file named main.cc." I can set a breakpoint for main(). When I do this, and run the program when it breaks it does not spit out a line number as it would normally. It is difficult to debug a progam when you can not set the breakpoints by lines numbers in the code. I tried making a makefile like the example in the manual. regards, Brian |
