Connecting to the WASTE DarkNet - use Tor.

Some people are having a real pain trying to connect to the WASTE nullnet over i2p,
We will default it back to Tor in the next release to prevent this.

If you do want to connect, switch WASTE to use Tor instead of i2p.

We apologize for this inconvenience.

v3 Onion Addresses

We hope you are aware the suite has fully migrated to Version 3 Onion Addresses, v3 Onion.
This means WASTE and the xFox Browsing Profile will not be able to the old v2 onion addresses.

We do default to i2p for WASTE now, but Tor is faster and still fully available for connect.

The WASTE BIOS node, used for comms over WASTE, has been upgraded to v3 onion with addresses shipped in the installer.

We hope this is clear to end-users and you're all still happily browsing and WASTE'ing away.... read more

xFox Profile Links - now in WASTE NULLNET library

We've decided not to concentrate on integrating links into the xFox profile used for Browsing Tor and i2p.
Instead, we've placed links on the WASTE NULLNET.

We arrive at a library of links in a much cleaner way.

Fire up WASTE and take a look.

What we are working on next.

We've just finished building a shiny static Tor version 0.4.6.1-alpha. We're putting it through its paces.
If its good, and trusting the Tor Project, this is almost a dead certainty, we'll possibly include it in the next release.
This version will not resolve v2 hidden services. Although WASTE defaults to i2p now within the suite, the old v2 BIOS Node infrastructure still exists.
You can still connect to it by just switching WASTE to Tor mode.
We may update the old Tor v2 Infrastructure for WASTE to v3 over time, but it's not a critical line-item.... read more
