> "Integrity Launch Failed" and my phonebook it partially corrupt. Actually it said: Integrity Check Failed. The phonebook on your phone is partially corrupt. Please read the help for more details on the cause and fix This is the help page that explains the issue and the fixes: http://www.bitpim.org/help/phones-lg-integritycheckfailed.htm > On doing some research, I saw that Verizon phones that they uploaded > the phonebooks too have too many digits so it is considered corrupt? No, they gave multiple entries the same internal tracking number. That number isn't visible and is automatically assigned internally on the phone. Some sync software like that used by Verizon stores bypasses some internal bits of the phone and ends up allocating multiple entries the same tracking number. > However, when I try to access my ringtones, the phone reboots as > soon as I select the "get tunes" from my phone menu. This is usually an indication that the index files are corrupt. The exception you are getting is because BitPim is trying to delete 'dload/snd/Train.mid' on the phone but it doesn't exist. This file is listed as existing in the index. I have changed the code for the next release so that this situation is detected and handled gracefully. Roger |
