Do you want to use the multiple index methodology (\usepackage \newindex etc.) but only specify one index, or use the older, single-index methodology? The system will support both. To use the old method, remove \usepackage{index} and all the \newindex commands from the top-level tex file. Also remove the index name parameter from the \index commands within the text. To use the multiple index method, we only need to have one \newindex command and the \index commands in the text need to specify the index name. Either way will work just fine, I believe. I'd be happy to make the change to either method. Just tell me which. Karl |
