Hello Silver, Marco is giving you very good advice. As he says, we are terribly busy now, and in fact for version 5.2.x spent quite a bit of effort upgrading Bat, and I added (as well as perhaps others) sorting in a number of places. Concerning getting Qt help: none of us are experts. We sort of stumble along. I think some community developer added the code for special sorting (not using Qt functionality). You will surely find his name in the code, and you might contact him. We will help you, but don't expect much until at least the end of March. Even then, if you do major surgery, we may not have the time to devote to getting in integrated -- Marco gave you very good advice -- do it in small steps, send it to Marco. We get a number of submissions, where the developer doesn't follow our programming standards; he implements something enormous that we don't feel we can support; he implements something that doesn't work on all systems; or he implements something that breaks existing behavior or creates future performance problems; or the code comes at the end of a development cycle where we are only interested in stabilizing the existing code, which is the current case at least until the end of March ... In those cases, it is a pity, but we don't accept the code or we implement it much later. We trust Marco so he is the right guy to talk to and to follow his advice.
