This is not a Bacula bug. Feel free to dig in this problem and provide some explanation or a fix, and re-open this issue with it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0005615) azurit (reporter) - 2010-09-30 16:37 http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1640#c5615 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't think it's related to some kind of 'special environment'. We are using standard Debian Lenny on 64bit. Bacula package is from www.backports.org (official Debian repository). No other applicatoins are crashing like this and it is crashing on all of our servers. Just run strace -p <pid of bacula> and then ctrl-c it (I was trying this only when Bacula was doing backup). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- (0005616) ebollengier (administrator) - 2010-09-30 17:21 http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1640#c5616 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- strace is a 'special environment' that is not supported by Bacula project. Just look at "strace + crash" on google and you will find hundreds of thousands results and many applications doesn't work very well with it. You may just found an other issue with it. You found a problem, well, now you need to prove that it's a Bacula bug by showing us some backtrace or explanation or even by providing a fix by yourself. Please, don't re-open this issue if you don't have useful information that points to your problem.
