I need yoyr help or in i'll get out of my mind - bacula volume rotation drives me crazy. so, let's get to stuff: Hardware: HP DAT 72 Software: app-backup/bacula-1.36.3-r3 USE="logrotate mysql readline tcpd -X -bacula-clientonly -bacula-console -bacula-split-init -doc -gnome -logwatch -postgres -sqlite -static -wxwindows" OS: Gentoo Linux the trouble: backup works fine, but approx. each month bacula wants next tape! and the current is filled only on 51M of 72G! here is pool defination from bacula dir: Pool { Name = Default Pool Type = Backup Recycle = yes # Bacula can automatically recycle Volumes AutoPrune = yes # Prune expired volumes Volume Retention = 365 days # one year Accept Any Volume = yes # write on any volume in the pool LabelFormat = "Daily-" Maximum Volume Jobs = 0 Maximum Volume Files =0 Maximum Volume Bytes = 70 G Volume Use Duration = 1 year } i'm executing next sequence when recives message "30-Jun 13:13 buran-sd: Please mount Volume "Daily-0003" on Storage Device "DDS-4" for Job Client1.2006-06-30_13.12.58" in 'bconsole' update->Volume parameters->Daily-0002 (current tape)->Volume Status->Append then done and executing a job 30-Jun 14:01 buran-dir: Start Backup JobId 37, Job=Client1.2006-06-30_14.01.37 30-Jun 14:01 buran-sd: Volume "Daily-0002" previously written, moving to end of data. 30-Jun 14:02 buran-sd: Client1.2006-06-30_14.01.37 Error: I canot write on Volume "Daily-0002" because: The number of files mismatch! Volume=35 Catalog=9 30-Jun 14:02 buran-sd: Marking Volume "Daily-0002" in Error in Catalog. WTF ?? why tape fills only on 52 megs and why it can be used only for a month ? |
