Connecting on directors Listener-Port is no prob, but what have to follow after that? You'll have to implement the authentication as used in Bacula itself. The source code itself might be be the most detailed documentation :-) or have a look for the work others have done - I think there was a pygtk frontend where the author implemented the app-DIR-communication. What I'd prefer to do, though, is simply calling bconsole from your application and feed the necessary input to it.
