Hello, I'd like to add a bit more information about various ports of Bacula to the web site support page. The problem is that I am running Fedora, and thus I don't understand the ins and outs of each of the ports. Specifically, I would like to direct users who have problems with prepared ports such as: FreeBSD, Debian, Gentoo, Solaris, Mac, ... to the ports specific web site if one exists, and possibly to an email address. This should help by directing users to where they can find ports of Bacula, and where they can get help with the details of those ports (i.e. install problems ...). For example, for FreeBSD, I think it is reasonable to direct FreeBSD users to: http://www.freshports.org/sysutils/bacula-server/ Just to be clear, the idea is not to offload Bacula support problems, but to point users to where they can get help on problems most of us don't understand. You suggestions and comments would be welcome ... -- Best regards, Kern ("> /\ V_V ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
