Cygwin does give reasonably unix-like paths, but I think there is still a long-standing bug between Cygwin sshd and rsync that causes the hang. If you do a test by hand copying a small directory it may work but I've ever been able to copy a large directory or full machine either with backuppc or a manual invocation of rsync. It does work when you run rsync in daemon mode on the windows side and it will work manually in the other direction, running 'rsync -essh ...' on Cygwin with the remote side on Linux. --- Les Mikesell le...@fu... |
