Sorry, that's not true. The entire backup is removed if any part fails, so even if the last share fails everything will be removed. I know that's not very smart. In 2.1 BackupPC will keep any partial full dump (until the next full dump succeeds). For rsync, 2.1 will also be able to resume the full dump using the partial as a starting point. Craig |
