First, BackupPC does a server pull (ie: the connection is initiated from the server to the client). You have to devise a method that can be initiated from the server and can reach the client through the firewall. It all depends upon your firewall setup. You could try ssh or stunnel. You might need to open a port on the firewall to allow the connection. Craig |
