The rsync server is the client PC running the cygwin rsyncd I put together. The rsync server does not allow any rsync clients to connect to it because it cannot do a reverse lookup. I've installed my rsync package on a system at home, and used another system to try to command line rsync to the box but it always fails with authentication errors due to the reverse lookup failure. I don't have a running backuppc implementation on the home network (yet). > Is this package available somewhere on the web? or could you email it to > me? I'm real interested in seeing what Craig has to say as well. Not yet. See Craig's latest email - we're getting close to the release.
