[BackupPC-devel] BackupPC Perl Processor Utilization

I'm no Mac OS X running BackupPC on a dual 2.5 GHz machine and I'm a 
little concerned about the processor utilization.  As I watch the 
parent perl process it is staying very high (usually in the top 5 
programs) in my activity monitor.  It is running higher than usual 
processes such as MS Word and other idle time processor hogs.  Is this 
a known issue or is there some digging that I can do to see where all 
of the cycles are being chewed up?  For this to continuously run on my 
machine I'm going to have to reduce this significantly or just create a 
script that runs BackupPC and the httpd when required for backups in 
cron.
