Bugs item #780291, was opened at 2003-07-30 20:48 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by bluesmoon You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=550744&aid=780291&group_id=77614 Category: Core Group: None >Status: Open >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Submitted By: Dionysius Wilson Almeida (dwillyson) Assigned to: Philip S Tellis (bluesmoon) Summary: Crash when double clicking offline yahoo contact Initial Comment: Hi, I'm using redhat 9.0 and ayttm 0.3.3-1. The crash happens when double clicking on a yahoo offline contact. It happens only when the double click is on the "+" line of the contact name tree i.e. if you expand the contact name tree and then click the actual contact id instead of his name, then it does not crash. This behaviour is always repeatable. E.g : I've a contact named "xxx" who's yahoo id is "xxx_id". The contact is under the group "Friends". If the expand the name "xxx" to show the "xxx_id" and then double click the "xxx_id" line to send an offline message, it works fine. But if I double click on the line with "+" and name "xxx", it crashes. Sometimes the first double click works fine, but the next double click always crashes. I reinstalled 0.3.2-1 and checked and it does not crash, so it has to be some change introduced in 0.3.3-1. Here's my log : Ayttm version 0.3.3-1 GTK+ version 1.2.10 Features: iconv Operating system: Unknown C Library: GNU libc 2.3.2 Signal: 11 -- [New Thread 1078815456 (LWP 30167)] 0xffffe410 in ?? My only guess is some library mismatches. Maybe a problem when we built the RPM. Do others notice similar behaviour?
