Category: ICQ/AOL (TOC) Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Diederik Tannis (dtenzo) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: icq buddies not visible online Initial Comment: Hi all, Using 0.4.5-1 on a mandrake 9.1 system. For some reason (after a crash) my icq buddies are not visible for me anymore. They are online, icq is running, but the buddies remain offline in ayttm. I removed and added the contacts again but no changes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Siddhesh Poyarekar (siddheshp) Date: 2009-09-21 15:54 Message: The bug report is outdated and the issue may have been fixed in the current version of ayttm. Please open another ticket if that is not the case. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: MaWa (edgarwahn) Date: 2005-01-14 17:54 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1197130 I have quite some ICQ contacts in my list and some of them are shown as offline to me, too. I have the latest ayttm release (0.4.6-17). Any news on this bug? As an example, two of the users I do see as offline use Trillian (Windows), BitlBee (using gaim libs?). But I see users online, who are using gaim, Trillian and other clients. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Lyle Hanson (lhanson) Date: 2004-09-16 19:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=284964 I am also experiencing this bug. I'm running 0.4.6-26. We use ICQ at work to communicate within the office, and I can often see certain people online but not others. I've been forced to fire up a fancy, proprietary ICQ client to send a message to a certain individual. I also remember a few months ago getting an IM from somebody who I couldn't see as being online, trying to reply, and getting an error because he was "offline". Within minutes I personally confirmed that he was online at the time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Diederik Tannis (dtenzo) Date: 2004-05-15 00:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=854778 Thanks for your reply. I recently updated my ayttm to 0.4.6-1, but the icq buddie bug is still there! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Edward L. Haletky (elh) Date: 2004-05-07 22:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=747074 Please upgrade as there has been newer versions that have icq fixes.... 0.4.6-1 is the latest. You may need to recompile. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=550744&aid=946359&group_id=77614 |
