#74 Report Referring sites by servers instead of URLs

It would be nice, to have a Option to group the referring Sites
eg.
http://thecompany.com/anyurl.html
http://thecompany.com/any_other_url.html
should be summarizeable to
http://thecompany.com

this would be a nice feature for us, as many people
link to us via homepages on big ISPS (http://isp.com/username/...
or via bulletinboards, internal searchengines etc.
(eg. http://anothercompany.com/cgi-bin/details?seachstring=junk)

I agree. I've just had a request from the webmaster for a
site I host asking for "Referrers by domain in addition to
by URL". I guess currently Referrers are displayed by URL.
Being able to display the Referrers by domain name would be
a good thing.

I guess we would also want stats per domain so we would know
that n hits came from domain abc.com, etc.

I second this request. I just love awstats. The only thing
I'm missing is a full referrer list grouped by domain name.

like:

The main page could only show the domain names and not the
detail urls.
