I just downloaded awstats-6.95.tar.gz from your side, extracted it with 7-Zip on my Windows XP Desktop, open the file ...\browser\flock.png with IrfanView and it says it ist an JPG file with a wrong file extension.
If i try to open \os\bsddflybsd.png then IrfanView says the file can't opended because it is corrupted.
I just tried to open the files on my webserver (debian lenny, apache 2.2.9) and the corrupted /browser/... files are shown (maybe apache manages it to show JPG files with a PNG extension) but the corrupted /os/... files are not shown and apache says the the file is broken.

I've just downloaded version 6.95 and the files found by jeradc are still in this version broken.
The broken icon files in the browser directory are all jpg files but have an png file extension.
Can't reproduce pb.
Can you provide an example of corrupted png file.
I don't really understand, the corrupted files are in your package and upgrade.
But i try to read the files using windows, firefox and IE without success.
