a 8-tap resize with jinc + de-ringing filter activated seems to be better than spline64.

jinc with antiringing activated:

Spline64 with antiringing activated:

Spline64 without antiringing:

Yes antiringing filters control the amount of ringing in an image.

    What is the feature request?

The images are screen shots of some tool but without some context are meaningless.

Perhaps there is an exiting discussion about the subject you wish to direct us to. Or you might start a new thread at Doom9.org's Avisynth Usage forum.

The feature request is to add the resize filter jinc.

You stand a much better chance of this being implemented if you provide some research and sample code. I currently do not need a jinc resize function so I won't be doing any R & D towards it. If someone does the hard yards and submits some working code I am happy to include it in a future version.

What is the program in the 3 images?
