[AVaRICE-user] does Olimex AVR-JTAG work?

Can anyone confirm or deny whether the Olimex AVR-JTAG will work with 
AVaRICE?

The $40 pricetag is within my hobbyist budget whereas the $200+ price of 
Atmel's product is not.  I'm also looking for something that works with 
Linux as this dual-booting to do development/debugging just isn't 
working.  I live in Linux and booting to Windows is such a pain.
