[asio-users] rs-485 modbus rtu with asio?

Hi,

Is there a way to have a read timout on inter-character spacing?  For 
modbus RTU the packets are framed with >= (3.5 * (character time)) idle 
spaces.  Is there a good way to do this using asio?
