Thanks Adam, Sorry for the delay, it has been a holiday here in UK! Thank you for the pointers, I will look at this as soon as I can. Unfortunately, the unit is on a remote site, so will have to wait until I am there next. I will do some investigation on a test server as I can get time. You may be right about that (not having tested after a complete shutdown), I thought I have tested it before, but may not have done a full shutdown and then restore power. From searching on internet, I have found that calling shutdown -hu instead of -h should mark it as an unclean shutdown even if it fully shuts down. Not sure if that is how the shutdown is initiated, I will look at this when I get time! (But thought it might be useful info for someone else before I get there...)
