[Apbs-users] Mapping the potential onto a surface

I would like to display a potential calculated by APBS 0.3.1 on a
molecular surface.  I can display isocontours in VMD, but I would like
to see an electrostatic surface (like grasp).  Is there a way to do this
with the output from APBS and VMD?

I also tried to visualize the APBS output with DINO.  I used the option
to write the potential as UHBD in APBS, but when I try to read the file
into DINO I receive an error regarding the header.

dino> load pot.uhb
loading pot, type binary uhbd map ...
error: uhbdRead: header not recognized (even after byte-swap)

The file output by APBS is an ascii file not binary, is there an easy
way to convert?
