Hi All,

Can anybody tell me how to reduce time taken for simulation and which all
parameters affects the time taken...

I have area larger than 1200 km^2 and I am using differential mesh
resolution for simulation...

I am having 1500 m^2 resolution for inner region and 100000 m^2 for outer
region (remaining part of domain) and running it for 24 hours... on Xeon
quad core processor with 12 Gb of RAM on windows 7.... with timestep of 2
min...

It has approximately 420000 triangles in the domain ....
To give water flow I have used Inflow class using forcing_terms...

It has taken around 32 hours to run on the same machine....

How can I reduced the time taken for simulation.... and which all
parameters affect the speed of execuation...???
