Hi, I just got my new Midiman Audiophile card and installed 0.9.0beta7. The card plays fine but I have problems recording. "arecord -f cd -t wav -d 5 test.wav" just gives me a junk file full of noise. I have no ~/.asoundrc and "arecord -l" gives: card 0: card0 [M Audio Audiophile 24/96], device 0: ICE1712 multi [ICE1712 multi] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: card1 [Sound Blaster Live!], device 0: emu10k1 [EMU10K1] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: card1 [Sound Blaster Live!], device 1: emu10k1 mic [EMU10K1 MIC] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: card1 [Sound Blaster Live!], device 2: emu10k1 efx [EMU10K1 EFX] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 Next try was: $ arecord -f cd -t wav -d 5 -D hw:0 senso.wav Recording WAVE 'senso.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 44100 Hz, Stereo arecord: set_params:719: Sample format non available and $ arecord -f dat -t wav -d 5 -D hw:0 senso.wav Recording WAVE 'senso.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 48000 Hz, Stereo arecord: set_params:719: Sample format non available So how do I record with the Audiophile? And I found, that if I listen to the input signal of the Analog In via Analog Out, the sound sounds low pass filtered, if I select Internel Crystal as the master clock. If I select S/PDIF in instead, the sound is okay. But I don't have anything connected to the S/PDIFs. Why's that happening? bye, -- __ __ Frank Barknecht ____ ______ ____ __ trip\ \ / /wire ______ / __// __ /__/ __// // __ \ \/ / __ \\ ___\ / / / ____/ / / / // ____// /\ \\ ___\\____ \ /_/ /_____/ /_/ /_//_____// / \ \\_____\\_____\ /_/ \_\ |
