Hi:

You seem to have alsa 1.0.16 installed.  I'm running OpenSUSE 10.3, but I
don't see why that would make much difference.  On the KDMix, the Analog
loopback switch is the third item on the Switches panel.  On the
Alsamixer, there are 19 pairs of sliders, with the Analog Loopback switch
being the 12th from the left.

In a shell, try alsamixer -v, which for me gives an error, along with the
identification version 1.0.16 of alsamixer.  

Oh, ensure that you also have 1.0.16 of alsa-lib installed as well.

Again, hope that helps.  I've reached the end of my knowledge I'm sorry to
say.
