I am trying to get both working at the same time. If I try the 3stack I have 5.1 sound from the 3 jacks at the back of the PC. In that case I have the 2ch/6ch selection option in alsamixer and this works fine. An IEC 958 output is in that case not available. When I try 3stack-dig I do have stereo sound and I have IEC 958 output, but there is no way I get 5.1 sound from the jacks at the back. The selection 2ch/6ch is also not available. The output of aplay -l now shows both an analog and a digital device (while using the model=3stack only analog). Does this make things a bit more clear? Maarten |
