[Alsa-user] Alsa1.0.6:Per port gain/attenuation control?

Hi All,

I am using Alsa1.0.6 which comes with the native kernel of RHEL4 base =
version. I am using the ICE1712 sound card with Delta1010 device, which =
will have 8 adc and dac ports. My application (voice) is very sensitive =
towards gain and attenuation.

Shall I able to use alsa apis/utilities and control the gain/attenuation =
values of each port of the device(Delta1010)?

Your help on this regard is highly appreciated. Please suggest.
