Maybe I put the wrong words here. I don't really want to alias the whole mixer. I would like to alias a control for an output device :) My mixer is called "USB mixer". You can see it on the picture here: http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/sebastian.kemper/alsamixer_aureon_usb_mk2.png Now theres the control for an output device called "Speaker,1". I would like to alias this control (not the whole mixer as I said before - my mistake). As you can see the name PCM is already there (weiredly enough it's a capture device). So may "Master" would be a good alias to use here. Any idea how to alias the control? Thanks!
