WOW, I'm not sure where to start. Let me try to make this as short as possible. I'm a Linux newb. I'm currently using the ubuntu distro Hoary with kernel 2.6.10. I'm trying to get my SB Audigy LS sound card to work. It's model SB0312. Your site indicates this card is supported in the ALSA driver version 1.0.6a and above. My version is 1.0.6 according to the version file. Does this mean it should be working (it's not)? The device manager in Gnome has the card correctly labeled and the soundcore.ko is installed according to modinfo =E2=80=93 I used your troubleshooting guide to get to this point. I know from using your guide there is no audigyls module being loaded. I ran the command lspci -vn and attached the output in a file with this email. Can you provide me with some guidance as to how I can get this card to work with ALSA? Thanks. Jim Pomanto |
