If "Analog To IEC958 Output" switch doesn't work, it's no way to do this in the driver level (unless we get more technical information). You need to run a (preferably real-time) app reroute the input signal to the SPDIF out. For example, JACK can do this easily. In theory, we can implement a "free-wheel" mode in the driver, which just runs playback/capture DMAs on the same h/w buffer. This can't be done currently with the user-space app. Takashi |
