Greetings; One minor nit to pick. There seems to be just enough of a miss-match between kmix, which seems to autodetect and resize itself according to the hardware available, and alsa (1.0.4) but it misses the mark on a couple of things. For xmms, it also seems to use the first one of the VIA-DXS controls, and this doesn't appear to be saved by an alsactl store operation as I have to unmute that slider each time I reboot before xmms works. Also, while the kmix PCM slider also controls the xmms volume slider, the motion is not reciprocated by kmix when the xmms slider is used. Is this something thats fixable in a config file someplace for one or the other, or are we waiting till kmix catches up to the extremely sparse and missing docs for alsa? -- Cheers, Gene "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
