Hi there. I just got a new system and this one have a Sound Blaster 128 PCI (well, at least it was it that the sales man told me :) ) The problem is that I can't make it work correctly. The card matrix in the alsa website says I should use the Ensonic Drivers. But loading ES1370 or ES1371 throws some errors about unkown device. The weird thing in all this is that lspci lists my sound device as a Cirrus Logic CS 4614/22/24 [CrystalClear SoundFusion Audio Accelerator] and Windows detect it as a Crystal SoundFusion. The only driver that seems to work with it is the snd-cs46xx, but when trying to play any file, it says "ALSA snd_pcm_hw_params_set_period_size error: Invalid argument". So, I just run out of ideas. BTW, I saw a "CT4750" chip in the board... -- Julio Biason <sl...@cs...> DeadBrainCells Software Development Inc |
