As I stated right at the begining of the thread, if I compile Allegro under a normal Mandrake distribution on the same hardware, then it works fine. The fli file checks out. (That was one of the first things I considered). >From <all...@ca...> Mon Oct 15 10:20:13 2001 Received: from mailgate5.cinetic.de [217.72.192.165] by canvaslink.com with ESMTP (SMTPD32-6.00) id A096122E0396; Mon, 15 Oct 2001 10:20:06 -0400 Received: from web.de (fmomail02.dlan.cinetic.de [172.20.1.46]) by mailgate5.cinetic.de (8.11.2/8.11.2/SuSE Linux 8.11.0-0.4) with SMTP id f9FEFlu07199 for al...@ca...; Mon, 15 Oct 2001 16:15:47 +0200 Date: Mon, 15 Oct 2001 16:15:47 +0200 Message-Id: <200...@ma...> MIME-Version: 1.0 Organization: http://freemail.web.de/ From: "Max Gerlach" <max...@we...> To: al...@ca... I haven't ever used Linux, but IIRC none of the Allegro-packages are preconfigured for any OS but for DJGPP which is Allegro's root. AFAIK the tar.gz and rpm versions include exactly the same as the zip's. You should call fix.sh with some parameter: fix unix, I think. You should look up this in the appropiate readme-file. I don't know Linux and thus can't exactly say how, but you will have to configure the lib for your compiler/OS. -- Max Gerlach aka Mars max...@we... _______________________________________________________________________ 1.000.000 DM gewinnen - kostenlos tippen - http://millionenklick.web.de Ih...@we..., 8MB Speicher, Verschluesselung - http://freemail.web.de |
