Hi Asko, Sorry, I browsed over the document, but never quite gave a response, render is the function that renders the widget, different widgets get rendered differently, so you should code the rendering function for any widget that has a visual representation, the render function is called Initially by renderAll in the Root widget for each child, and in theory each child should recursively call it for their children as well, its not public, its not private, its protected (I think). create creates the initial widget, sets stuff like default colors, dimensions and such, its an initialization function, render is a drawing function, hence, create should get called when you initially create the widget, render gets called each time the widget needs to be redrawn. that's how I think it is, anyone feel free to correct me or add to that :) Cheers!
