Hi, I tried the latest snapshot ( 20060117 ) and it seems no longer works. Attached syslog with debug=0xffff . Looks like driver tries to authenticate though I don't use a WEP key. Here is the commands I use : southpark ~ # iwconfig wlan0 essid pardus southpark ~ # ifconfig wlan0 192.168.3.250 up acx driver shows : wlan0 IEEE 802.11b+/g+ ESSID:"pardus" Nickname:"acx v0.3.29" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.437 GHz Access Point: 00:00:00:00:00:00 Bit Rate:1 Mb/s Tx-Power=15 dBm Sensitivity=0/3 Retry min limit:7 RTS thr:off Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality=38/100 Signal level=13/100 Noise level=0/100 Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 Same time ipw2200 driver with same settings show: eth1 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:"pardus" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.437 GHz Access Point: 00:13:46:63:F2:CD Bit Rate=54 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Retry limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality=89/100 Signal level=-33 dBm Noise level=-81 dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:15 Missed beacon:14 I am 1 meter away from the AP, so I don't think its a problem.
