Bugs item #816901, was opened at 2003-10-02 19:35 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by hendersj You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=543745&aid=816901&group_id=75380 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 7 Submitted By: Jim Henderson (hendersj) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: DLink DWL650+ Kicks Other Devices off Network Initial Comment: Have tried both the CVS release and the 0.2.0pre3 release so far. It seems that at random intervals, something from this driver/card causes some sort of disconnect of devices on the wifi network. AP is a Linksys WAP11 and has worked fine until this change in the wifi network. I know I don't have enough information here to troubleshoot the problem effectively, which debug switches are needed to provide useful information on the problem? Thanks, Jim ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Jim Henderson (hendersj) Date: 2003-10-08 09:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=624494 Tried it last night, was going to post a follow-up and didn't get a chance to. 0.2.0pre4 did not fix the issue for me. Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Andreas Mohr (andim2) Date: 2003-10-08 01:46 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=132674 Could you try 0.2.0pre4? angelbane's Deauthen fix MIGHT have fixed this problem, too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Jim Henderson (hendersj) Date: 2003-10-07 20:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=624494 I'm attaching the /var/log/messages file (clipped to relevant sections) that hopefully shows the disconnect/reconnect, not knowing what options to turn on in the debugging switches, I just left the debug= parameter off the options line in modules.conf - if there is a specific option that would help diagnose this, please let me know. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=543745&aid=816901&group_id=75380 |
