All: > PCI: Via IRQ fixup for 00:07.5, from 255 to 5 We shouldn't be running the chipset-specific fixups when ACPI is used for IRQ routing (fixups are imbedded in the ASL). -- Paul -----Original Message----- From: Alexander Seidel [mailto:sei...@we...] Sent: Wednesday, April 03, 2002 6:30 AM To: acp...@li... Subject: [ACPI] IRQ trouble Hi! I've got working interrupt handling with acpi-20011218-2.4.17, acpi-irqrouting.patch and kernel parameter pci=acpiirq. IRQ Handling failed with acpi-20020329-2.4.18.diff and pci-irq1.1.acpi.diff. Kernel parameter pci=acpiirq isn't recognized anymore. I get this rtl8139 TX transmit timeout messages (see end of out.kernel.2.4.18). I have a Notebook from Medion (MD 9703, Aldi-Notebook 02/2002): 1,2 GHz Desktop Pentium III, 256 MB RAM, Radeon Mobility, VIA Apollo Board, VIA USB, VIA AC97 Sound, O2 Micro Cardbus controller, Lucent Firewire and Ambient Softmodem (working with Intel HAM driver). I've attached the output from lspci and /proc/interrupts of the working 2.4.17 kernel. I also added kern.log for 2.4.17 and 2.4.18 (some hopefully not so important lines cut off). Alex. |
