With no offense, I am just trying help the linux community, even this is not my area of development, and as you can see I have serious difficulties in write in English. But since I bought a laptop to work on my project, I stop work on my project and work for this, in my spear time.=20 OK! isn't true? that patch to IRQ routing have been integrated in acpi pacth 20020709 and in 20020611 isn't? I am not complaining that your patch working bad, no. What i am trying to tell is. When is out one patch for acpi, we (users) have some problems, this problem are not related to acpi, you discover that are relate with IRQ routing. ok! so you made patches (very good patches) for IRQ routing. but in other cases acpi works well without need IRQ routing patch (is my case). Definitely kernel 2.4.18 hasn't yet resolve all problems with IRQ routing, so your patch can be a great improve to kernel 2.4.18 but (I think that) have to be apply separately of acpi. This is only my modest opinion. S=E9rgiomb PS: maybe now acpi-project should advise people to use the two patches (acpi + pciirq.x.acpi24 )=20 |
